Stanwood Camano Food Bank is offering free and convenient summertime grocery support for families with children age 0-18.
Summer Meals is available to families who reside in Stanwood and Camano Island, and will operate as a weekly text-based ordering model with easy curbside pickup at the Food Bank.
1. SIGN UP
Fill out both the Sign Up For Food Bank Services form as well as the Sign Up For Summer Food form, linked below. We will reach out via email to confirm your submission as well as share information about next steps.
2. VERIFY DOCUMENTS
After we confirm your sign up, you must present proof of guardianship of each child in your household, as well as proof of residency in the zip code service area. Reference list below for examples of acceptable documents.
3. PLACE YOUR ORDER
Ordering is done weekly via text or email link. We send a new link every Saturday morning, and orders can be placed up until the following Tuesday at midnight. We will pack your parcel based on your order preferences.
4. PICK UP YOUR ORDER
Orders are picked up during our distribution hours in the grocery pickup line: Wednesdays 3pm-7pm
Fridays 11am-3pm Simply tell the carting staff your name, and they will bring your order to your car.
Wednesdays 3pm-7pm or Fridays 11am-3pm. Documents must be verified in-person at the Food Bank prior to or upon first pickup.

How do I know if my family qualifies for this program?
The only qualifications for this program are:
Guardianship of children ages 0-18
Residency in Stanwood or Camano Island
How often can I order Summer Meals?
Parents/Guardians of children in Stanwood & Camano order and pickup once a week.
How old do my children need to be to receive support from this program?
Children age 0-18 are eligible for Summer Meals. Anyone over the age of 18 does not qualify for this program.
What should I expect to receive from this program?
The menu options will vary week to week, but you can expect fresh food such as milk, fruit, veggies, s well as non perishable items like pancake mix, mac n cheese, canned chicken, etc.
When can I bring my documents in to verify eligibility?
We are available during Food Distribution hours to review documents. You do not need to wait in line for Food Bank shopping to verify documents. Please notify the staff at the receiving door and we will assist as quickly as possible.

Can I order for someone else's children?
Orders must be placed by the approved parent or guardian for the household. However, you can pickup an ordered parcel on behalf of friend or family member if they are unable to pickup due to illness, transportation issues, etc.

The Food Bank’s Food Distribution Hours have changed to the following:
Wednesdays 3pm – 7pm
Thursdays (By Appointment for age 60+) 11am – 12pm
Fridays 11am – 3pm
Saturdays CLOSED
Numbers are passed out 1 hour before we open until closing on Wednesdays and Fridays.
