WARM COATS FOR KIDS AND HOLIDAY HOUSE

Stanwood Camano Food Bank is offering brand new gifts and coats to children ages 0-18 from November 5th – December 18th 2025.

Seasonal Support is available to families who reside in the zip codes of Stanwood & Camano Island.

Fill out the registration form linked below. After registration is complete, you will receive an email confirmation with more information to schedule an appointment.

PREP YOUR DOCUMENTS

On or before your appointment, you must present proof of guardianship of each child in your household, as well as proof of residency in zip code service area. Reference list below for examples of acceptable documents.

On the date of your appointment, check in at the front desk of our programs area: 27030 102nd Ave NW, Stanwood WA 98292. Staff and volunteers will be available to assist you with shopping.

Wednesdays 3pm-7pm or Fridays 11am-3pm. Documents must be verified in-person at the Food Bank prior to or upon appointment date.

What are acceptable documents for proof of guardianship and residency?

Documents for proof of guardianship:

  • Student ID
  • Report Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Club Enrollment
  • Child’s MyChart

Documents for proof of residency:

  • State ID
  • Bill with name
  • Tax form
  • Lease

Any family living within the zip codes of Stanwood and Camano Island (98292 & 98282) can verify that they have guardianship of the children they want to shop for.

Many other programs in both Snohomish and Skagit County provide this type of service. Here is a list of places we recommend:

Parents/Guardians of children in Stanwood & Camano can shop once per calendar year.

Children age 0-18 are eligible for Seasonal Support programs. Anyone over the age of 18 does not qualify for this program.

Warm Coats for Kids provides brand new/unworn coats with tags attached. Examples of coats in our inventory: puffer jackets, hoodies, sherpa lined jacket. We stock a diverse amount of sizes, including Boys & Girls coat sizes newborn – 14-16 (XL), and Men’s & Women’s coat sizes XS – 4XL.

Appointment scheduling opens Wednesday, September 18th, and our office hours for scheduling appointments are the following:

Wednesday 9am-1pm

Thursday 11am-1pm

Saturday 9am-1pm.

If the child’s primary residence is your household and you can present documentation of guardianship of the child, yes. If the child does not live in your household, they will have to be shopped for by their parent/guardian.

WAYS TO DONATE

You can shop for gift items for Holiday House in-person at your favorite stores or via our Amazon Wishlist!  All gift donations must be brought to the Stanwood-Camano Food Bank during donation hours: Tuesday – Friday 9am-2pm. Please do not ship gifts directly to the Food Bank or drop them off in our food donation bin outside of the building. For questions, please call (360) 629-2789.
