Stanwood Camano Food Bank is offering brand new toys to  children ages 0-18 from December 4th through December 21st.

Holiday House is available to families who reside in the zip codes of Stanwood & Camano Island.

BRING DOCUMENTS

To make an appointment, you must present proof of guardianship of each child in your household, as well as proof of residency in zip code service area. Reference list below for examples of acceptable documents.

Bring your documents to the Food Bank to schedule your appointment during our office hours:
Wednesday - 9am-1pm
Thursday - 11am-1pm
Saturday - 9am-1pm

On the date of your appointment, check in at the front desk of our programs building: 10207 270th St NW, Stanwood WA 98292. Staff and volunteers will be available to assist you shopping for your children.

What are acceptable documents for proof of guardianship and residency?

Documents for proof of guardianship:

  • Student ID
  • Report Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Club Enrollment

 

Documents for proof of residency:

  • State ID
  • Bill with name
  • Tax form
  • Lease

Families living within the zip codes of Stanwood and Camano Island (98292 & 98282) are eligible for the program. Prior to making an appointment, you must verify guardianship of the children you will be shopping for.

Parents/Guardians of children in Stanwood & Camano can shop at Holiday House once per calendar year.

Children age 0-18 are eligible for Holiday House. Anyone over the age of 18 does not qualify for this program.

Holiday House provides toys for children of any age. (Toy quantity and variety will change from year to year depending on supply and demand) Examples may include: doll, hobby kit, sports ball (football, soccer ball, volleyball) with air pump, stuffed animal, toy vehicle, building blocks, pajamas, crafts and activities, etc.

Appointment scheduling opens Wednesday, November 13th, and our office hours for scheduling appointments are the following:

Wednesday 9am-1pm

Thursday 11am-1pm

Saturday 9am-1pm.

If the child’s primary residence is your household and you can present documentation of guardianship of the child, yes. If the child does not live in your household, they will have to be shopped for by their parent/guardian.

WAYS TO DONATE

You can shop for gift items for Holiday House in-person at your favorite stores or via our Amazon Wishlist!  All gift donations must be brought to the Stanwood-Camano Food Bank during donation hours: Tuesday – Saturday 9am-2pm. Please do not ship gifts directly to the Food Bank or drop them off in our food donation bin outside of the building. For questions, please call (360) 629-2789.
