FOOD BANK

The Stanwood-Camano Food Bank functions as a grocery store model where members can come in in and shop with assistance from volunteers! We are open for Food Distribution on Wednesdays from 10am-3pm, and Saturdays from 10am-2pm.

If possible, please sign up online before your first visit to the Food Bank. If you don't have the ability to sign up online, you may also sign up in-person when you arrive.

The Food Bank is open for Food Distribution on Wednesdays from 10am-3pm, and Saturdays from 10am-2pm. Please bring your own shopping bags.

We hand out colored number tickets at the north side of the building from 9am-close on Distribution Days. We call groups of shoppers by number so you have some flexibility during wait times.

HOW OFTEN CAN I COME SHOP AT THE FOOD BANK?

Households may shop once per calendar week.

You are eligible for food assistanceĀ  if you reside within the State of Washington. Please reference the income guidelines for receiving food assistance HERE. These guidelines are self-verified by each client, we do not require proof of income paperwork.

Please bring your own shopping bags or boxes to put your groceries in.

Food Distributions on Wednesdays and Saturdays operate on a first-come-first-serve basis, and are not appointment based. All are welcome! However, Senior Serve on Thursdays is appointment based. To learn more about Senior Serve click here.

We begin handing out numbers starting at 9am on the north side of our building, right next to the large roll-up door. Come to this door to get a number from 9am-close on Distribution Days. If you arrive before 9am, please place your shopping bag at the end of the line of bags along the building. Once you place a bag down, you must wait in your vehicle on the Food Bank campus to reserve your place in line. Promptly at 9am we hand out numbers in order of bag placement, so please be ready to receive your number next to your bag at 9am.

You may park either in the parking lot next to the Methodist Church, or the parking lot next to the Thrift Store (across the street from the Food Bank).

We offer a variety of staple food items such as rice, beans, canned goods, milk, eggs, meat, produce, and other items. We also offer non-food items such as diapers, toiletries, and pet food when we have them available, depending on supply.

We have an appointment-based Senior Serve every Thursday from 11am-12pm at the Food Bank. To learn more orĀ  make an appointment, click here!
