We rely on donations from our community and partners to meet the demand of those living without permanent shelter.
Stanwood Camano Food Bank is offering brand new coats to children ages 0-18 from October 2nd through November 16th.
Warm Coats For Kids is available to families who reside in the zip codes of Stanwood & Camano Island.

BRING DOCUMENTS
To make an appointment, you must present proof of guardianship of each child in your household, as well as proof of residency in zip code service area. Reference list below for examples of acceptable documents.

How do I know if my family qualifies for this program?
Any family living within the zip codes of Stanwood and Camano Island (98292 & 98282) can verify that they have guardianship of the children they want to shop for.
If my family doesn’t qualify, what do I do/ where can I go to get coats?
Many other programs in both Snohomish and Skagit County provide this type of service. Here is a list of places we recommend:

How often can I shop at Warm Coats for Kids?
Parents/Guardians of children in Stanwood & Camano can shop at Warm Coats For Kids once per calendar year.
How old do my children need to be to receive coats from this program?
Children age 0-18 are eligible for Warm Coats. Anyone over the age of 18 does not qualify for this program.
What should I expect to receive from this program?
Warm Coats for Kids provides brand new/unworn coats with tags attached. Examples of coats in our inventory: puffer jackets, hoodies, sherpa lined jacket. We stock a diverse amount of sizes, including Boys & Girls coat sizes newborn – 14-16 (XL), and Men’s & Women’s coat sizes XS – 4XL.
When can I make an appointment for Warm Coats For Kids?
Appointment scheduling opens Wednesday, September 18th, and our office hours for scheduling appointments are the following:
Wednesday 9am-1pm
Thursday 11am-1pm
Saturday 9am-1pm.
Can I get toys for someone else's children? (my niece/nephew, grandchild, cousin, etc.)
If the child’s primary residence is your household and you can present documentation of guardianship of the child, yes. If the child does not live in your household, they will have to be shopped for by their parent/guardian.
You can shop for coats for Warm Coats for Kids in person at your favorite stores or via our Amazon Wishlist! All coat donations must be brought to the Food Bank during donation hours: Tuesday – Saturday 9am-2pm. Please do not ship coats directly to the Food Bank or drop them in our 24-hour food donation bin outside of our building.
