Stanwood Camano Food Bank is offering brand new gifts and coats to children ages 0-18 from November-December.

Seasonal Support is available to families who reside in the zip codes of Stanwood & Camano Island (98292 & 98282).

Complete the registration form for Seasonal Support, linked below. We will reach out via email to confirm your submission as well as share information about next steps.

Verify Documents

After registration is confirmed, you must present proof of guardianship of each child in your household, and proof of Stanwood/Camano residency. This can be done at your appointment or beforehand.

Seasonal Support Frequently asked questions

What are acceptable documents for proof of guardianship and residency?

Acceptable documents for proof of guardianship include:

Student ID
Report card
Birth certificate
Club enrollment
Parenting Plan (must display child birthdate)

NOTE: Social Security Cards do not qualify as proof of guardianship documentation.

Acceptable documents for proof of residency include:

State ID
Bill with your name
Tax form
Lease (must be current)

You must provide proof of guardianship for each child in your household and proof that you reside within the Stanwood-Camano service area.

How do I know if my family qualifies for this program?

Your family qualifies if:

You are the parent or guardian of children ages 0–18, and
You live in Stanwood or Camano Island / a qualifying Stanwood-Camano ZIP code.

There are no income requirements listed for the program.

How old do my children need to be to receive support from this program?

Children ages 0–18 are eligible. Anyone over age 18 does not qualify for Seasonal Support.

What should I expect to receive from this program?

Seasonal Support provides brand-new, unworn coats with tags attached, including styles such as puffer jackets, hoodies, and sherpa-lined jackets. We offer sizes from newborn through 18-20 (XXL) in children’s sizes, as well as adult sizes XS–4XL.

We also offer gifts for children and youth ages 0–18. Examples may include toys, games, books, stuffed animals, art supplies, sports equipment, and other age-appropriate items. Gifts for teens may include items such as gift cards, headphones, skincare products, clothing, accessories, games, and sports-related items. Availability and selection may vary.

When can I bring my documents in to verify eligibility?

Documents can be verified during regular Food Distribution hours:

Wednesdays: 3 PM–7 PM
Thursdays: 11 AM–1 PM
Fridays: 11 AM–3 PM

You do not need to wait in the Food Bank shopping line to have your documents verified. Enter the Food Bank and the front desk staff will assist you. Documents must be verified in-person prior to your appointment.

What days/times do you have available for shopping?

We have appointments available Monday-Friday, with morning, afternoon, and evening hours available on various days.

Can I get toys for someone else's children? (my niece/nephew, grandchild, cousin, etc.)

If the child’s primary residence is your household and you can present documentation of guardianship of the child, yes. If the child does not live in your household, they will have to be shopped for by their parent/guardian. If you require an accommodation to this please contact the Food Bank for more information.

Why do I need to verify documents for this program?

Verification of guardianship is required to ensure the benefits of this program are being received by children ages 0-18. Verification of Stanwood-Camano residency is required as this program only services children who reside in Stanwood and Camano Island.
